R. Michael Thompson

Mike Thompson is a founding member of the firm and serves as the Managing Partner. For over 30 years, he has aggressively represented banking and financial clients as a creditor in bankruptcy courts and in varied civil litigation in state and federal courts throughout Georgia.

Mr. Thompson has become an industry leader in the representation of secured lenders recovering and protecting collateral. Mr. Thompson’s clients consist of national financial institutions for which he manages all litigation and bankruptcy matters in Georgia. He has developed particular expertise in the Uniform Commercial Code, personal property foreclosures, defending preference claims, and all other matters affecting creditors in bankruptcy courts. Mr. Thompson is active in the development of the practice, having lectured frequently on topics involving secured lending and bankruptcy.
