Prior to joining
Thompson O'Brien in 2002, Mr. Aubrey was an associate with
a respected Connecticut labor and employment law firm, where
he focused primarily on representing and counseling employers
on compliance and employment discrimination issues. Since
joining Thompson O'Brien, he has continued his employment
practice, successfully representing both employees and employers
in various employment discrimination actions. Mr. Aubrey has
also developed substantial expertise in Thompson O'Brien's
Creditors' Rights and Collection practice group in litigation
against large-scale commercial debtors and in managing high
volume consumer debt collection litigation for the firm's
credit union clients.
While in his first year of law school at
the University of Connecticut, Mr. Aubrey was the Northeast
region's client counseling champion and later placed in the
national competition. He subsequently became Vice-President
of the law school's Client Advocacy Board. Mr. Aubrey
also served five years in the United States Army, including
two years stationed overseas in Seoul, South Korea. |
