Prior to joining
Thompson O'Brien in 2006, Mr. Cavin spent eight years in the
Gwinnett County District Attorney’s office where he focused
primarily on felony criminal prosecution. Since joining Thompson
O'Brien, he focuses on government law and civil rights defense.
Mr. Cavin has also developed substantial expertise in Thompson
O'Brien's Creditors' Rights and Collection practice group
in litigation against large-scale commercial debtors and in
managing high volume consumer debt collection litigation for
the firm's credit union clients.
Mr. Cavin has been active in the USMC Reserves
for the past eighteen years.
