Mr. Nasuti joined
the firm in 1984 and has served as a Chapter 7 Trustee Panel
member for the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District
of Georgia, since 1990. He has also served as a Chapter 11
Trustee and has worked closely with Creditor Committees and
the Office of the United States Trustee. Mr. Nasuti has served
as a Receiver and special counsel to Receivers in matters
pending in the Superior Courts. Mr. Nasuti's bankruptcy practice
is a national practice as he has worked on bankruptcy cases
in jurisdictions throughout the country.
Mr. Nasuti's practice also includes representation
of banks, credit unions and commercial finance companies in
secured transactions, financial workouts, asset recovery and
liquidation, and lender liability defense. Mr. Nasuti speaks
on bankruptcy and collection matters to trade organizations
and has instructed at continuing legal education seminars.
Mr. Nasuti has served in various positions
in local county government. He served on the Gwinnett County
Recreation Authority in 1990, the Municipal Gwinnett County
Planning Commission from 1991-2002 where he served as Vice-Chairman
and Chairman, and the County Revitalization Task Force in
2001 and 2002. He was elected to a four-year term as the District
2 Representative to the Gwinnett County Commission in 2002.
He was elected Vice-Chairman of the County Commission in 2003
where he currently serves. Mr. Nasuti has worked closely with
citizens groups and business leaders in zoning cases and zoning
litigation. |
