Summer Associate Program

Each year Thompson O'Brien sponsors firm-wide events such as whitewater rafting down the Ocoee or baseball games at Turner Field. |
Thompson O'Brien hires at least two summer associates each year and often utilizes a law clerk during the school year for
part-time assignments. Clerking at Thompson O'Brien provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate to see the firm's day to day working environment and for the firm's members to evaluate, critique and help develop the clerk's skills. Thompson O'Brien actively recruits at most schools throughout the Southeast. The firm recruits on-campus during the Fall recruiting season at the law schools of Emory University, University of Georgia and Georgia State University.
