The Firm also handles foreclosures for many of the financial institutions that we represent, and provides services related to title and title insurance issues, zoning and land use regulation, subdivisions, acquisition due diligence, property tax disputes, commercial evictions, easements, condemnations and boundary disputes. The Firm is an agent for Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company.
The Firm works with developers and their consultants to analyze legal requirements to organize development plans and execute strategies for development. Our attorneys have experience creating agreements and ownership structures to facilitate separate ownership, financing, and phasing of multi-component projects, and have experience in state, federal and appellate courts in zoning, land use, and condemnation litigation. The effect of a tenant in bankruptcy, and the impact of the bankruptcy on the leasehold, can produce frustrating problems for a landlord. The real estate practice works seamlessly with the Bankruptcy practice to represent the interests of landlords and other clients. The Firm’s real estate clients include banks and other financial institutions, finance companies, developers, property managers, brokers and investors
