Mishael K. Najm is an associate in our Firm’s litigation practice. She represents local governments, financial institutions, corporations, non-profit organizations, other entities, and individuals in a wide variety of litigation matters. Mishael has experience representing parties on both sides of the “v,” giving her insight into how to both successfully pursue a cause of action and vigorously defend against it. An analytical and independent thinker, Mishael is adept at identifying inconsistencies and weaknesses in the opposing party’s case and finding solutions to problems where previous efforts may have failed. Leaving no stone unturned, Mishael understands the importance of investigating cases thoroughly and applying a client-first mentality. On the job for seven weeks, Mishael second-chaired a complex business case and won a six-figure jury verdict. During law school, Mishael was a member of the school’s Moot Court team, winning “Best Oralist” in the 2018 Talmadge Moot Court Competition. She interned at the legal department of a Fortune 500 enterprise technology provider, the Georgia Public Defenders Standards Council, and the Court of Appeals of Georgia. Prior to embarking on her legal career, she worked at nonprofit international human rights organizations around the world giving her a perspective that allows her to relate to clients from a variety of backgrounds. In her spare time, Mishael is an avid traveler, having visited over thirty countries.

C. Taylor Kogan
Charles Taylor Kogan focuses his practice on general corporate and commercial law, bankruptcy, and civil litigation. He regularly advises businesses, financial institutions, and individuals on a wide range of legal issues, including contract negotiations, commercial disputes, financial restructurings, and regulatory compliance.
Before joining Thompson, O’Brien, Kappler & Nasuti, Taylor practiced at one of Georgia’s largest law firms, where he represented clients in civil litigation and transactional matters.
Taylor earned his J.D. from Georgia State University and his B.S. from Kennesaw State University. He is admitted to practice in Georgia. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending quality time with his wife, daughter, and two dogs, as well as cheering on his favorite Atlanta sports teams.
